Unapologetically Privileged

Luxury has become one of the defining languages of contemporary culture—a system through which identity, desire and value are constructed and performed. Working across painting, jewelry and installation, this body of work explores how fashion, ornament and carefully crafted images function as symbols that shape the way we see ourselves and others. Within this investigation, The Temperature of Jewelry considers ornament not as status, but as memory made tangible, suggesting that the true value of an object lies less in what it is worth than in what it has carried. Between seduction and reflection, the work asks not what we own, but what we choose to value.
